BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING!

I added a little something called Google Analytics to my website and blog the other week, as to track my websites traffic. Now, as an added bonus however - I have the magical powers of being able to tell where all of my web visitors come from... So far the highest contigincy is from the west coast as this handy chart so clearly shows

So far the most exotic visitor I've gotten is someone from Moscow who dropped in for a couple of minutes.

Oh, did I mention it can track visitors down to the city? Creepy right? Yeah, I think so too.

THE FUTURE IS NOW!!!

Fun Fact: Londoners are under higher surveillance than any other population in the world, having their picture taken by closed circuit security cameras on average 300 times a day.

The CatsAreNotDogs.com online store is now up, operational and ready to take orders!

So far there are only three items for sale in the store, but it is none the less an exciting development!

As you can see to the left we have my roomate Bradly Schaffer modeling the limited 1st edition CatsAreNotDogs T-Shirts! Get them while you still can!

Fun Fact: Funner is not a word... even though it should be.

Updating you all on my recent goings on, here are some screen shots from my student film "July" that has been in production for a little bit over a year now:

Its still a little bit on the secret side, so I won't say anything about it, but leave you with some tantalizing still frames...

Fun Fact: according to some statistics, as many as 1 in 4 people claim to have seen a ghost.

Hello all,
This update is to talk about the new internship I just started at Titmouse Inc.

so far so good I must say, the work environment is really cool, there's free beer on tap and regular Mario Kart and Guitar Hero competitions.

"Titmouse Studios?" you say questioningly "I've never heard of them"

"Neither had I" I respond congenially. Titmouse is a primarily Flash based studio that is best known for their show Metalocalypse on [Adult Swim].

Unfortunately the show is not in production at the moment, so I don't get to experience the glory of working on it (yet...) but what I am working on is a movie called "BATON"

BATON is a feature length Japaneses movie that has been sent to Titmouse to be rotoscoped, rotoscoping for those who don't know is the process of animating over live action footage (I.E: Waking Life, A Scanner Darkly.) My job title is 'colorist', which means I take the line work animation and color them in according to the style sheets. Its pretty much a glorified paint by numbers deal, but its definitely more interesting then a lot of gig's I've had in the past.

I'm not sure how secretive the project is, but I'll see if I can't post a screen shot here in a few weeks time.

Fun Fact: In the United States, Alabama has the highest concentration of animals that can kill; 19 deadly species in total.

INVADERS FROM POULTRON-9!!!

Here are some screenshots from another game I'm working on Called "Invaders from Poultron-9" It's a game similar in vein to the classic "Asteroids" but with a avian twist...
Co-creating the game is the programmer with two first names: Neal Bryan.

Fun Fact: If you touch a baby bird its mother will still keep it, they don't have a keen enough sense of smell to tell otherwise.

Screen shot

Another screen shot from my upcoming game "Mouseland or BUST!"

it is a character design of my roommate Brad... His head 'splod.

Fun Fact: When one cuts onions they release sulfuric acid into the air, the reason our eyes tear while cutting onions is to delude this acid.
Here is a screen shot from a game currently in production called "Mouseland or BUST!"
The game is meant to raise money for my lovely lady and myself to go on a trip do Disneyland.

Its all being done in flash and will hopefully be done around summertime...

Fun Fact: Being a bus driver for the public transit system is one of the highest paying jobs one can get without a college degree.

Website Botox

Due to the creation of this blog, my website needed some tweaking such as a blog button on the main menu. What do you know, one thing leads to another and 8 hours later and CatsAreNotDogs.com has had a complete face-lift... although to the untrained eye it looks exactly the same... Thats how I roll.

Fun Fact: Falling coconuts account for more deaths annually than lightning strikes.

Welcom to the blog of the Future!

Cats Are Not Blogs, clever right? I thought so to, I'm gonna right stuff about goings on and the like, stay tuned.

Fun Fact: On average, a major motion picture costs $100 million to make and $50 million to advertise.
